Building Scale:
This is a progression of how the relationship of living spaces and work spaces have existed over time. As commercial spaces have become larger over time, an increase in distance of the structure have also taken place.
Block Scale:
The importance of the building parts and layers are also essential in designing new community spaces. Context, what spaces make up a community, are categorized by modules such as entry and window. The outcome of this study showed how there are gridded module lines that extend from front to back. Site placement also shows the literal placement of the buildings fronts to be in the same plain.
Site Scale:
This image explains the dimensional quality of the Kohl's city block. Major attributes to this section include: the height of buildings, size of space and the topography of the site.
